The most awaited Sony Xperia Z2 has a rumored 5.2-inch display that leaked online. It will have 2560 x 1440 resolution, 506ppi, and 2K screen but the size remains the same just like the Z1.
If the rumors are true, Sony Xperia Z2 will have the same 2.3GHz quad-
core processor just like the Z1 but an upgrade of 3GB RAM.
As for the OS, an Android 4.4 Kitkat will be the dessert for us. It will also have an upgrade of 3700mAh battery from a previous 3000mAh with Xperia Z1.
The camera will stick to 20.7MP, the same as with Xperia Z1. But the old LED flash is rumored to be replaced with Xenon flash to provide a more balance light. It is also rumored to shoot a 4K video.
Final verdict? I think the Xperia Z2 will be a great upgrade of Xperia Z1. That's the key word, "upgrade". Based on the specification rumors presented online, it seems that the Xperia Z2 is not a new handset but an upgrade of Xperia Z1 in terms of screen size and quality. But as long as the price is not that too far from Xperia Z1 then I guess it will still be a great product.
